Collaborative lab space
We plan to provide a laboratory space for our community to solve unsolved problems innovatively. The lab is used for teaching, researching, and inventing. We strive for a collaborative laboratory and culture. “If we can imagine it, we can make it”.
Makerspaces and FabLabs often empahsize the Technology and Engineering side of STEAM (Science, Engineering, Technology, Art, and Math). We will focus on Science and Art, but we know we do not work in a bubble and the T-E and M will play too.
We’ll be open to the community, local businesses, and or course schools. First we are working on identifying the best location. More information on membership, equipment, and facility will be available soon.
We are providing a variety of workshops. These are great for schools, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and other organized groups, as well as individuals. Click the link below to view our workshop offerings.
In the future we will offer water testing, consultations about the results, and recommendations for improvement. We hope to test water along hiking trails and within our parks.
We strive to help make our community knowledgeable and healthier.
Health issues can be mitigated by drinking clean water. BeBop Labs will test water and educate about test results. We will also make recommendations for solutions.
In the future we plan to help farmers and local gardeners test their soil, including the estimation of soil boita.
Normally soil tests only test for pH, nitrogen, carbon, phosphorus, but healthy soil need diversity in its microbiota. Bebop labs will test all aspects of soil, educate about our findings, and help to make improvements. Our goal is to have soil so healthy, you can eat it!
Information about air quality testing will be coming soon.
